SAVAGE LUXURY

MY PARENTS MADE BIG MOVES, I CAN DREAM BIGGER

Creative Vision

Savage Luxury’s creative vision for this campaign is built around the intersection of fashion, Haitian cultural heritage, and authentic moments of everyday life. The goal is to create a cinematic universe where clothing becomes a vehicle for memory, identity, and connection, rather than simply a fashion element. Each concept explores a different environment and generation — music, family, tradition, everyday rituals, and soccer — while maintaining a cohesive artistic direction inspired by warm atmospheres, natural textures, contrasting light, and a contemporary aesthetic. Together, the concepts position Savage Luxury as a brand that naturally exists within its community, creating a dialogue between Haitian heritage and modern self-expression.

Development of the Four Video Concepts

The four concepts were developed as four different ways of telling the same brand story. The first is rooted in music and cultural memory, featuring two saxophonists in an environment inspired by a Haitian bar, where the clothing becomes a reflection of heritage. The second focuses on family and generational connection through a mother braiding her daughter’s hair, using gestures, sound, and intimacy to create an emotional moment.

The third explores reconnection with nature and everyday rituals through the preparation and sharing of coffee, using depth of field and interactions between the foreground and background. Finally, the fourth explores soccer and collective memory, bringing different generations together through their memories of Haitian football. Together, the four concepts reveal different sides of Savage Luxury while maintaining a shared visual language: human stories, strong cultural identity, and clothing at the center of the narrative.

Additional Concept — Savage Luxury on the Soccer Field

Alongside the concepts developed in the moodboard, an additional idea was developed collaboratively and through a more spontaneous, improvisational approach: bringing Savage Luxury directly onto a soccer field to highlight the lifestyle aspect of the brand. Beyond simply creating a fashion image, the concept becomes a way to celebrate Haiti’s return to the World Cup and the cultural excitement surrounding the national team.

The soccer field becomes a space where fashion, community, culture, and celebration naturally come together. The contrast between the two tracksuits — mint green and yellow/orange — becomes the central visual element: two bold colors with completely different energies, yet complementary when placed together within the same frame. This contrast creates a dynamic and instantly recognizable image while reinforcing the idea that Savage Luxury can live beyond a traditional fashion campaign — as part of a lifestyle, a culture, a community, and a shared moment of celebration for Haiti.
