COLD PLATE OF CAPITALISM

Sometimes, we are faced with dilemma like the choice between nourishing ourselves or consuming new material goods. In a society where appearances matter more than well-being, we come to realize that capitalism will eventually consume us.

The G stand for Gentrification. Inspired by Spike Lee I decided to capture the gentrification going on close to my city.

Gentrification is what happens when compagnies transformed neighbourhoods into luxurious places of living. It’s sad to see that this place will soon be a replace by appartement that people can’t afford. In times of a housing crisis, the priority should be having affordable housing.
